We've been to Aruba a few times for vacation. Aruba is 19 miles long and 5 miles at it's widest point. The Island is 75 sq miles in area. Aruba is in the Caribbean Sea, but out of the hurricane belt.

I've been to Key West, Florida. It is interesting because it is the Southernmost Point of the Continental USA and you have to go over a bridge that is 7 miles long with nothing under the bridge except water to get there.

Puerto Rico is one place I've been. It's a territory of the United States. It belonged to Spain for over 400 years. It's located in the northeastern Caribbean. It uses the United States dollar for it's currency.

I'v been to the mountain 5 times and I think its intersting because there are moose and deer and now huming brids and you can put your feet in the river and you can look at the brids and then you can look at the rivers and that.

I have been to Italy. The cities and villas are REALLY REALLY old. The buildings are old, but beautiful. The streets are really rocky and bumpy and narrow. Everything is really close together. Most little towns have stone walls around them and people walk more than they drive in a car. It is so different than how we live in America.

I have been to California. I think it is interesting because the ocean is there. There were big waves that knocked us down. The ocean has salt water and we had to spit it out when it got in our mouth!

I have been to California 2 times and the thing that I found most interesting was the diversity of all the people that I saw. All were quite friendly whenever I came in contact with them. This what I found most interesting about my time in California.

I have to been to many states in our own country, but a few of the most interesting places I have been out of the US are Paris, France and Florence, Venice, and Rome, Italy. They are all very old and fascinating cities! Venice was one of my favorites because it is a city that is completely on water-kind of like an island. There are no cars to use for transportation! Everyone uses a boat or walks over many bridges to get around. Paris is another favorite because it has the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe which are awesome to see in person.

I have visited most of the states in the United States. I think each one has something interesting and new to explore. In Texas people try to finish a 72oz steak in less than an hour to get it for free (they have a hall of fame for people who have). The Grand Canyon is one of my favorite too. My favorite visit I hiked in and out of the Grand Canyon (it is easy going down, but rough hiking back up). I hope to visit the Maine area one day and explore all the fishing towns up there.

I have been many places, but places near the oceans are my favorite. I love the ocean in Florida because the water is warm like bath water. The ocean in California is colder but it reminds me of a vacation with my brother, our families, and our grandparents.

Matthew went with my wife and I to a wedding in October outside of Baltimore, Maryland. It was very nice there with lots of trees and grass. We went to Chesapeake Bay and Washington, D.C. also on our visit.

The Czech Republic, England, Venezuela, and Houston, Texas, are some of the places I had the good fortune to travel to and enjoy. What made these places interesting were the people I met. With the exception of a few words, I could not speak the languages, but with smiles, laughter, and patience we had a blast a communicating.

On a trip while relocation back to the east coast we took the opportunity to visit The Petrified Forest, Death Valley, Grand Canyon, and Meteor Crater they were all amazing in there own way. The Petrified Forest and Death Valley HOT HOT HOT and DRY, the Grand Canyon BEAUTIFUL, and Meteor Crater what a bright light that must have been to create a hole 2.4 miles in circumference and more than 550 feet deep.

The most amazing place I've ever visited has been the Panama Canal. Locks are used to raise ships 85 feet above sea level on one end and lowered on the other end of the canal so they can navigate between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans without having to make the long trip around South America.
