My favorite veteran is my daddy! I am thankful for his decades of service with the Air Force. He is retired, but still puts duty, honor and country first. I also would like to thank my grandfathers who both served in the Army during World War II and my Uncle who served in the Navy. Their dedication to our country is admirable and I thank them and ALL of our great nations veterans for their service and dedication.

My Dad (Hailey’s Great-GrandDad), who served in the US Army during World War II, is the ultimate veteran to me. He left the comforts of family and friends to answer the nation’s call to arms to serve in one of the most brutal wars in United States history—World War II. Specifically, Hailey’s Great-GrandDad was a German prisoner of war, who endured and survived the harshest of living conditions. To him and all our military veterans, I salute you for your dedication and service to our great nation.

I have several friends and family members who were and who still are serving in the military. My dad served in the Navy and sent home letters to my grandma. My grandma kept the letters which I read many years later when I was in elementary school. I'm thankful for all the military men and women that keep us safe.

My father tried to sign up to go fight for his country in WW 2. They would not accept him because he had several children and other members of his family were already enlisted. Two uncles were in WW 2. My father-in-law also was in the army during WW 2 . My husband and brother were in the Vietnam War. I had a great nephew and friends service in Iraq. Thank you to all military for your service to our country.

My father was in the Korean war. The war ended shortly after he enlisted, so he did not actually go to Korea. He always said the other side new he was coming so they gave up.

Ava's great grandfather fought in WW II in 1944. He served in Japan and the surrounding islands until the war ended in 1945. She also has an Aunt Karen who is currently serving in the Air Force.

Thank you for the great video. We owe so much to all of our veterans. Ava also had a great grandpa who fought in the Korean war. She has many relatives that were honored to fight for freedom in our country and many others. We recently were invited to attend a ceremony to honor our relative Karen, who served three tours in Iraq. We had the pleasure of meeting several of the men and women that she served with in Iraq. We can never thank them enough for their sacrifices.

Tristans Grandpa Tygart was a Marine, he served 3 tours in Veitnam. He flew a helicoptor. Tristan was born on the Matine core birthday (nov 10th) so his grandpa thought it was pretty cool.

What an inspiring and touching video and song! I am very thankful to and for all our service men and women. I enjoy hearing navy stories from Izzy's Grandpa George, you little munchkins know him as Grandpa Hoot. I am sure he met a dragon or two while overseas in the Navy aboard a Navy ship! Isabella' great grandpa Joe also served in the Navy and had his pinkie shot off.
