It reminds me of going to Anderson Farms when I rode go-carts with Sergio and Chase. I also panned for gold. I didn't get any.

I had a lot of fun at Anderson Farms, too. My favorite part was learning about all the different types of pumpkins they grew. Of course, I really enjoyed watching you boys racing around the track on the go-karts!

Our class remembers going on this field trip when they were in 2nd Grade! Some of their best memories were: the wagon ride, the people that were in character had great imaginations and they made us feel like we were in that time period, and the old house was really cool. We hope you all have a great time!

When Mckenzie went to Andersen Farms she got to bring home a whole pillowcase full of vegetables. Did you bring anything home when you went?

I went on a great field trip just last week to Bluff Lake Nature Area. It was a great place to learn about the prairie and the wetland. I learned some new words, too. One was ecotone. It is a word for where two types of habitats overlap, like where the prairie and wetlands come together. You are never too old to learn something new!

I remember in general always looking forward to field trips as a kid. The greatest adventure field trip of course being the Entire week we were able to spend at "outdoor Eduxation" I was telling my kids all about it this summer when we were camping and I shared some knowledge from that week of fun.

I remember going on a class field trip to the Hogback Trail in Boulder. Our teachers warned us not to eat our lunches during the hike because it would make us sick. One boy went ahead and ate his lunch and guess what? HE GOT SICK and threw up all over the place!!!!! YUCK.

WE loved that house too. I liked the old school and the ladies that were talking about it. Did you know that they could hit the kids back then with a stick? Also, if they were naughty, they had to put their nose on a knot on the wood and stand there. I would have been a very good student back then because I like my nose to be left alone.

In 1st grade I went on a field trip to Anderson Farms. I went through a straw maze and we picked out pumpkins for Halloween. Some of them were orange, white and red. We fed the goats and Mom took lots of pictures of my class. I had a good time.
