Movie are different then book because the book has all of the parts. And the movie cuts out a lot of parts that the book has. And I learned that a brown bomer is a car.

Books are different from movies because books are made out of paper and have words. I learned that Byron saves Kenny from the whirlpool. :)

I learned that a movie is different from a book because the movie dose not tell you all of the parts that the book dose.

I just finished the Hunger Game Series and then watched the movies and they left out a lot of parts in the movie I was a little mad because they were reasons why they went to that place. I also read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the book was way different than the movie. Books have more detail than movies

I always like to read the book before I watch the movie so I can get the full story without any of the events or parts left out. I like the quote that of Lois Lowry that the movie has to be true to the spirit of the book.

I feel that in order to save on time and add drama movies steer from the original ideas of the book. Also, when you read the book you get in your head what people sound like, look like and the settings appear in your head. So, when the movie comes out your imagination changes to conform to the ideas of the producer. Just a thought.

I think there's more detail in a book rather then the movie.

I like reading the book before seeing the movie because it's always interesting to see which parts have been left out of the movie.

I learned that many times they change parts of the book to make the movie more exciting.

I love this topic because I have read lots of book that were made into movies. I happen to love the books because I can read about what characters are thinking and feeling. Things that are difficult to incorporate into a movie. However, I do love seeing the characters and situations that I read about come to life on the movie screen even if they leave parts out or change things. Sometimes, like in the case of The Wizard of Oz, the book is extremely different than the movie but I still love the book and the movie because they were both well written/made. Great topic!

I agree with most of the other comments. I like both movies and books, but most of the time the movie changes things. For me, the book is usually better, I never like seeing the movie first and then reading the book, I have to read the book first!

Movies are different then books because some times the movies do not have all the parts and detail to it in the movie. The book has all of the parts and detail. I always read the book first.
